"They have a separate real estate business called Anida, and they've appointed us as their sole UK agents for dealing with their properties - that's around 35,000 homes in total. No one else in the UK has that contract, nor will they currently get it!" With prices for homes ranging from as low as PS50,000 right up to luxury properties costing in the millions, there is truly something to suit all price ranges.

The properties offered by Ian Crane estate agents are situated all over Spain, from Madrid to the coast, and into small rural villages.

BOOMING MARKET Ian said: "Spain has always been a popular destination, whether that's from a tourism point of view or from a buying point of view. I personally own property out there, and have personally maintained our overseas department for many years."

The Spanish property market is really picking up again now after the financial crisis, and with the Euro at its most favourable exchange rate in years, now is the ideal time to buy.

"Value for money is a major attraction - the price point on properties overseas is fantastic at the moment," said Ian.

There has been a surge in people buying homes for personal use, rather than investors, and Ian and his team are careful that every client gets a perfect service.

"We sit with people on a one-to-one basis to find out what it is they want, where they're looking to buy, and we then go away and source properties for them. All this is done in the UK.

We then either arrange for them to go out to Spain with us, or our representative over in Spain can meet them and show them around."

TRUSTED TEAM In addition to acting for Anida, Ian Crane and his team also work closely with established developers and agents to offer brand new quality homes throughout Spain.

"We are expanding our portfolio constantly and are having meetings this month with fifteen new developers in the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida region who are members of the AIPP and want to work with us".

In terms of Spanish lawyers, they work with Enrique Sanchez, who is also the Honorary Consul of Spain and is based in Liverpool. Their approved Currency brokers are Currency Matters, based locally in Ormskirk, and deal with the financial side of proceedings to obtain the most beneficial exchange rates.

The Spanish National Insurance numbers required for property purchases in Spain can be organised within the UK by them and there's an arrangement in place with BBVA to help secure competitive Spanish mortgages.

This means that all the legalities and paperwork can be dealt with within the UK, making the process run as smoothly as possible.

"What we're offering is a credible, safe way to source Spanish properties, where you're dealing with professional agents both in the UK and Spain, and dealing with professional builders in Spain.

"There's nobody else in the UK doing what we're doing now."
