A good type of boring.

The WDX Indexable Drill Series is designed for large diameter hole drilling as well as turning and boring. The drills have a nickel-plated steel body, and accept the same insert geometry for both the outer and inner cutting edges, and allowing the use of all four of the insert's cutting edges. They are available in three drilling chipbreakers. Featuring the Super ZX-coated carbide insert grades ACP300 and ACK300, the drills cut a range of steels, stainless steels, cast irons, and exotic materials. They are available in coolant through 2xD, 3xD, and 4xD body lengths. Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc.
