A global service alliance.
Gary Finney, MAG Maintenance director of sales for North America, says the program is global in two respects: First, it covers all manufacturing equipment at major Lockheed Martin locations around the world. Second, its scope is global in that it includes interactive diagnostics, preventive maintenance, field service, training, spare parts, machine rebuilding, and machine relocation and setup.
The agreement, which provides for a schedule of discounts to the aerospace manufacturer as the volume of work increases, covers the full range of machine tools produced by MAG's other companies, including more than 50 legacy brands and Lockheed Martin's large installed base of MAG Cincinnati machining and composites-fabrication equipment. Also, other brands of equipment are included.
