Singers are needed to join the chorus for a production of the classic musical Half A Sixpence.

Redcar Operatic Society needs vocalists of any age and experience who fancy a good sing-song for the society's production at Middlesbrough Theatre between May 24-29. Anyone interested can contact Stella Jones on 01642 482567.

Getting together

THE annual meeting for Redcar East Community Centre on Durham Road, Redcar will be held on Monday, March 22 from 10am and everyone is welcome.

Cash office shut

REDCAR and Cleveland Council's cash office at Loftus Leisure Centre will be closed on Wednesday during a week of maintenance work at Loftus Pool. For details ring 01642 444430.

Past comes alive

SEDGEFIELD Family History Group will be meeting on Monday in Ceddesfield Hall at 7.45pm with a speech from Norman Kelly on The Old Grocery Shop.

Homely history

THE next meeting of Stokesley Local History Study Group is on Monday, March 22, when the speaker will be Tony Nicholson on the History of My House, at the Town Hall at 7.30pm.

Mr Nicholson is well-known in Stokesley for giving an entertaining evening. Come along and learn how he researched his house's history.
