A dog day afternoon for Tomahawk bikers.

DOZENS of bikers turned up at a local dog home laden with treats, toys, food and vouchers.

e Tomahawks Motor Cycle Club drove from Coventry to Kenilworth Dogs Trust to deliver the goods, and two bikers even reserved new four-legged friends on the expedition.

Jo Poynter, canine carer at the Honiley centre, said: "We have had bike runs here before, so we know just how generous bikers can be.

"ey brought a vast amount of stu, and they stayed at the centre for two hours.

"I gave them a guided tour of the whole premises, and they also joined us for drinks and biscuits after they arrived.

"ey met one of our oldest residents who needs a home, and two of the bikers have reserved dogs with us."

Phil Ballis, a member of the Tomahawks, said: "We managed to get three Pets at Home stores involved, and Just for Pets, who also made a donation."
