TALKING about the general mood of the 'Reflect Your Respect' campaign in Qatar, a woman in-charge of female section of a renowned clothing shop in a mall said that she has noticed a recent trend among women not wearing skimpy clothes in shopping malls.
A manager of a nearby popular clothing brand at the same mall said,"Since the launch of the campaign, I've seen fewer women entering the shop with shorts and revealing dresses."
In another high-end mall which witnesses a large turnout of expatriates, a staff in-charge of a female section of a well-known clothing shop said,"Our sale of short dresses has remained unaffected by the 'Reflect Your Respect' campaign. But, I've noticed that our customers are making some adjustments. For example, a woman after purchasing a sleeveless top also gets a blazer or a scarf to cover her top."
A coordinator at a women section in another clothing brand at the same mall echoed a similar view, saying that women have started collecting cardigans with their sleeveless or low-neck dresses.
