Background: An Arkansas Business "40 Under 40" honoree from the class of 1995, Tom Allen of Little Rock had just three years earlier co-founded Inacom Information Systems, which was Later renamed Avow Technology Solutions, one of Arkansas' largest information technology companies. He sold the business in 2003.
Experience: Allen has worked in the information technology sector for 29 years. After selling Avow in 2003, he became president of Net6ain Technologies Inc. in Little Rock. Most recently, Allen served as director of managed services at Clear-Pointe before moving to Mainstream Technologies.
New Position: As director of information technology business development at Mainstream Technologies, Allen will be in charge of increasing sales of hosting and information technology managed services. "We are very pleased that Tom has joined Mainstream. Tom is a pioneer in the managed services industry in Arkansas, and his experience and vision will help us as we execute our mission to be the preferred information technology provider," said John Burgess, president of Mainstream Technologies.
