If cheese and wine is your niche, a new restaurant has opened with you in mind.

What is said to be the world's first cheese conveyor belt restaurant has opened in London.

If you've been to the likes of Yo Sushi, you'll know all about the conveyor belt concept.

So now you can sit, sip wine and wait for your favourite cheese to arrive at Pick & Cheese at The Cheese Bar.

Or, you can try something new.

"It's our attempt to shake up the traditional cheese and wine bar format," the restaurant says, "and encourage people to get out of their comfort zone and try something new."

The restaurant started life as a cheese van in early 2014 at Maltby Street Market in south east London and would travel around UK festivals,Plymouth Live explain.

But the company made a name for itself after getting rave reviews about its grilled cheese sandwiches.

In 2016 The Cheese Bar opened in Camden after a successful Crowdfunder and now the company has launched Pick & Cheese - the "world's first cheese conveyor belt restaurant".

Those behind it say: "Our aim is to share our food with as many people as possible, whilst informally educating our customers on how great British produce can be.

"The price of our dishes fairly reflect the quality of their ingredients, as well as the time and energy it's taken to get them to your plate. That being said, we'll always keep our food affordable and accessible.

"We want everyone to embrace it, and be part of our British cheese revolution!"
