A call for Technical Forum (poster) Presentations: Forest Products Society 58th Annual Meeting.
During a Technical Forum, meeting attendees browse among the presentations and speak directly with the presenters. Technical Forum presentations are informal, conversational, and highly conducive to the interchange of information between audience and presenter.
Subject areas for Technical Forum presentations include:
* Composites and Manufactured Products
* Fundamental Disciplines
* Solid Wood Products
* Wood Engineering
Technical Forum presentations are a primary means of disseminating technical information at the Annual Meeting. Technical Forums are scheduled for 2-1/2 hour blocks. Each presenter is expected to be present at his/her booth for a minimum of 1-1/2 hours.
Individuals interested in giving a poster presentation must return the Technical Forum (Poster) Presentation Request Form, which was recently mailed to all members. The completed form should be returned as soon as possible--no later than January 9, 2004 - to meet the deadline for inclusion in the brochure publicizing the meeting. However, requests will be accepted after that date, providing space is available. Detailed information and guidelines for preparing a poster presentation will be mailed to each presenter after the January 9 deadline.
If you are not a member of the Forest Products Society and, therefore, did not receive a request form in the mail, please contact the Conferences & Meetings Department at 608-231-1361, ext. 208, fax 608-231-2152, or e-mail email@example.com to request a form. You may also submit this form electronically by visiting our web site at www.forestprod.org.
