Byline: By DAVID TAYLOR
A SNOOTY househunter stormed off TV show Location Locat ion Location after branding a popular area of Glasgow "s***".
Project manager Adam McKeown, 23, is the first person to walk out on homefinders Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer.
Adam, who had looked at 500 flats, claimed the pounds 120,000 one they showed him in Cathcart was in "the badlands".
He told a stunned Kirstie: "The flat would be fine but the area is s***. It is a nightmare for parking and it is too far into the badlands."
The furious presenter said: "I've never had anyone do a runner on me before."
Adam, with girlfriend Alexandra Mann, applied for the series after looking at properties in Glasgow for 10 months. He had made offers on 16 but was pipped at the post every time.
With a budget of pounds 135,000, Adam was looking for a two-bed flat on the south side.
After hours of research, Kirstie thought she had found three perfect choices.
The first flat the couple were shown was a one-bed in Shawlands expected to sell for around pounds 130,000.
After seeing it, Adamsaid: "I wouldn'tjumpin feet first." They were then shown a two bed in Pollokshields but another buyer snapped it up.
Their third option was the Cathcart flat but when Adam arrived at it, he stormed off, leaving Kirstie bewildered.
He refused to view it until stylist Alexandra talked him round. After a cursory look, he gave it the thumbs down.
Adam eventually offered pounds 132,500 for the Shawlands flat and it was accepted.
Another show in the new series of the 10-year-old programme sees an English couple calling up market Newton Mearns "horrible".
