A Lamb which should really get the chop.
Didn't you see it? It was Like X Factor, but with gizzards. The Beeb dubbed it a talent show with a difference, featuring youngsters who "haven't set out to be famous, don't want to be celebrities, just the best in their chosen career".
Which is why they've chosen to do it on telly, yeah? It was all overseen by the aptly-named George Lamb - an offal presenter at the best of times - who was prone to saying things like: "Gary's hacking off a cow's leg, this is brutal stuff!" No George, he's a butcher, it's his job. You're not watching a Sam bloody Peckinpah film.
