A Flurry of Course Applicants Expected This January, According to Schneider Trading Associates.

LONDON, December 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --

With the dawn of 2012 fast approaching, people who have been considering new career opportunities should use the new beginning as motivation to take the step towards reaching that goal, recommends Schneider Trading Associates (STA).

STA suggests that the lure of starting afresh this New Year will create a wave of interest in its Professional Trader Programme (PTP), often referred to as Schneider's graduate programme. With individuals geared-up to change or improve their circumstances, STA is anticipating the course administrators will receive an increased number of applications throughout January.

Habitually, we use the start of a new year to create resolutions, following a Roman tradition in which people reflected on the past year and looked forward to the new year - this still applies today as millions of people examine the parts of their lives they'd like to change moving into 2012. A new year is the ideal time to consider different career opportunities because psychologically we prepare ourselves to start something fresh; when mentally preparing for a fresh challenge we naturally focus on a goal date - and what better goal than 1st January.

Matt Silvester, head of training at STA, commented: "Having had years of experience training traders, it has been noticeable that the start of a new year is always busy with people looking to change their career and I expect 2012 to follow suit. It's a common trait to use January as a time to start something new in life and career choice is no different; we have always found that new candidates have more drive and motivation in January and our courses tend to be fully booked."

The four week programme that STA offers is for people looking to kick start their career in trading, with no age barrier and no experience or specific qualifications required. There is no charge for the four-week PTP and if all the assessments are successfully completed, candidates will be offered a self-employed position and be placed on STA's three year training and mentorship scheme.
