97% wheat buying achieved in Faisalabad.

FAISALABAD -- Food Department has achieved 97 per cent of the wheat procurement target in district Faisalabad.

As many as 145,000 metric tons wheat has been procured at procurement centers so far against the total target of 149,000 metric tons set for district Faisalabad by Punjab government, said Food department sources here Thursday.

According to sources,10,500 metric tons wheat has been procured at procurement center No 6 in Faisalabad, 11887 metric tons at Sir Shamir enter, 5649 metric tons at Darul Ihsan, 22663 metric tons at Jarranwala, 5998 metric tons at Rodala Road center, 6969 metric tons at Jhok Dittah center, 6942 metric tons at Buchiana and 14,665 metric tons wheat has been procured at Samundri Center.

Some 15,429 metric tons wheat has been purchased from growers at Tandlianwala Center, 10491 metric tons at Kanjwani and 33898 metric tons at Mamoon Kanjan center.
