800 SPIRITS ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT WITH PENNSYLVANIA LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD
HACKENSACK, N.J., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- 800 Spirits, Inc., the international gift delivery service specializing in gifts of champagne, fine wines and spirits, today announced an agreement with the State of Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The agreement affords persons desiring to provide a gift of wine or spirits to a recipient located in Pennsylvania the ability to do so by call 800-BE-THERE (800-238-4373) to place their order.
In Pennsylvania, wine and spirits can be purchased by the bottle only at state stores and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board operates approximately 700 such state stores.
Robin Rucki, vice president of marketing of 800 Spirits, stated that "The agreement is historic because Pennsylvania is the first control state to participate in a gift service network. Of all the control states, Pennsylvania, which has a population of approximately 11.9 million, is the largest market for wine and spirits."
