 80,00 LIONS' FANS CALL HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS;
 80,000 LIONS' FANS RECEIVE FREE CELLULAR MOBILE PHONES
 STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- When the Detroit Lions battle the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day, the Rao Corporation's cellular phone division, MetroCell, will offer Pontiac Silverdome patrons the opportunity to make free long-distance phone calls.
 The Phone Home promotion, taking place during the game, will allow fans to place two-minute calls at no charge anywhere in the continental United States on cellular mobile phones. "Phone Home" stations will be located at the entrances just inside the stadium at all levels.
 This first-of-its-kind promotion is sponsored by MetroCell.
 "It is during the holidays that people like to connect with their friends and families. Since it is not always possible to visit these people in person, we are offering patrons the next-best thing, a free phone call," said Jim M. Jung, president of MetroCell. "In addition to being able to talk with their loved ones, patrons will be able to experience cellular technology and realize that a cellular mobile phone has more uses than just as a car phone.
 "In addition to allowing all 80,000 Lions' fans to call home, MetroCell will also be offering all 80,000 Lions' fans a free mobile phone valued at $400. During the football game, patrons at the Silverdome will receive a flyer explaining the exclusive mobile phone offer. To receive the phone, all they need to do is take the flyer in to any MetroCell store. The phone offer is subject to credit approval and requires a standard $35 activation charge which will appear on the first phone bill. A new customer activation through MetroCell and a minimum service commitment of 399 days is required. Also included on the flyer are valuable discount coupons for tires and services at Metro 25, the tire division of the Rao Corporation, and discount coupons for cellular mobile phone accessories.
 Based in Sterling Heights, MetroCell is the largest mobile phone dealer in the Midwest and the fifth-largest in the country. It is Michigan's fastest-growing mobile phone and service chain and the fastest-growing of the nation's top 20 mobile phone dealers.
 MetroCell is a full-service dealer of mobile phones, fixed and portable facsimile machines, state and nationwide paging systems, voice mail systems, car alarms, and radar detectors.
 There are six MetroCell locations: Sterling Heights, Farmington Hills, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Mount Clemens and Auburn Hills.
 MetroCell and Metro 25 are subsidiaries of the Rao Corporation.
