8-YEAR RUN DIANA ROSS' DAUGHTER WANTS HER CHARACTER TO WED.

Byline: GREG HERNANDEZ

Tracee Ellis Ross, left, doesn't know whether her CW comedy "Girlfriends" will be ending its run this season after eight years on the air.

But if this is the end, the actress knows how she wants things to turn out for her single-girl character of Joan Clayton: "I just want to get married, for God's sake! I just want to seal the deal! (laughs) I figure art imitates life and maybe it'll help me out."

Ross, who will turn 35 on Oct. 29, is at peace with whatever happens.

"It's been an amazing run, an unexpected eight years," says Tracee, the daughter of Diana Ross. "I don't know that any of us thought we would go this long. We're the longest running half-hour on TV."
