Eastern Consolidated Properties, Inc. has been appointed the exclusive sales agent to handle the disposition of 76 Madison Avenue. The marketing and sales program for the property will be under the direction of Brian Ezratty, senior vice president of Eastern Consolidated.

Seventy-six Madison, is a 12-story 60,000square-footofficebuildingsituated in the heart of Midtown South at the southwest corner of 28th Street and Madison Avenue. With a strong retail presence and excellent light and air attributes, 76 Madison has been able to maintain a healthy office occupancy. The property is located directly across the street from the world headquarters of New York Life Insurance Company - Purchased in 1988 for $9 million by an investment group led by Harry Skydell, the property was recently taken back by BRT Associates through a foreclosure. Since taking control, BRT has embarked on a renovation of the building and has been successful in signing new leases.
