72 educational institutions to be commissioned in 2019.

The qualitative modern education should be accessible to every child, said Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev at a conference of education system employees on August 23.

According to him, 1 million students study in Kyrgyzstan. 82% of schools are located in rural areas, but a large number of schools are located in Bishkek and Osh cities, which has a negative impact on the quality of education.

"The state budget annually allocated large funds for the capital investments. In 2018, the work was conducted on 74 object and in 2019 on 157 objects, including 111 are school construction. The additional objects to 32 schools were built in the last 2 years," he said.

Prime Minister added that dozens of schools will be opened on Sept 1 and 72 educational institutions will be commissioned in 2019. The reconstruction of 51 schools and 7 kindergartens is underway.
