7-year-old victim of Zardaly blast receives 25,000 som from Kyrgyz President.

The Jalal-Abad region vice governor handed over 25,000 som to 7-year-old resident of Zardaly village Bael Isakov, who was injured in mine explosion, in aid from President Atambayev.

Boy's father Isak Musayev said his son Bael and grandson Ilamidin Isakov were injured in the blast. The boys received medical treatment at a hospital.

Two children died and 4 were injured in the result of the blast of unidentified explosive device on April 17 in Zardaly village, Batken region.

According to preliminary information, the explosive device might have remained in the area since intrusion of the militants into Kyrgyzstan in 1999. Hostilities took place in Zardaly village area.
