7 stars who can carry a tune.
1 HUGH JACKMAN - THE movie action man belted out the West End hits in Les Miserables (2012)... and he wasn't the only one. Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried were among the cast members to sing.
2 EWAN McGREGOR - IN the double Oscar-winning musical drama Moulin Rouge (2001), Trainspotting star McGregor showed what he could do with his voice, alongside Aussie actress Nicole Kidman.
3 GWYNETH PALTROW - THE Amercian actress and Oscar-winner sang her heart out in Duets (2000) as the daughter of a karaoke hustler, played by real life musician Huey Lewis.
4 CATHERINE ZETA JONES - THE Welsh warbler starred alongside Richard Gere and Renee Zellweger in a movie version of Chicago (2002). Catherine sings several songs including, perhaps most famously, All That Jazz.
5 GENE WILDER - THE comedy actor played the famous chocolatier in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971). One of Wilder's - and indeed the film's - most memorable songs was Pure Imagination.
6 MERYL STREEP - THE three-time Oscar-winner made good use of her singing voice in Abba-inspired comedy romance Mamma Mia! (2008) and more recently in the fantasy adventure Into the The Woods (2014).
7 JOHN TRAVOLTA - GREASE (1978) gave Travolta an early chance in his career to flex his vocal chords. Fast forward almost 30 years to Hairspray (2007), and even dressed as a woman he proved Travolta could still hit the right notes.
