7 held for issuing fake appointment letters.
NAWABSHAH -- Shaheed Benazirabad Police, on the directives of SSP Javed Ahmed Jaskani, Saturday arrested seven members of a gang involved in selling fake job orders.
In-charge CIA Mubeen Parhiar arrested the gang leader Sajid Dahri involved in sale of fake job order from Mehran Colony, a suburb of Nawabshah city while his accomplices including officials of different government departments were also nabbed.
CIA In-charge Mubeen Parhiar said that accused named Bachoo Mal Menghwar Office Superintendent District Education Office Elementary Mirpurkhas, Mohammad Usman Khokhar Office Superintendent D.O. Office Elementary Hyderabad, Bilawal clerk Shah Inayat School, Mir Hassan Machhi an employee of Irrigation Department Sakrand and few others totaling the gang members to seven.
Accused Sajid Dahri confessed that he issued score of fake orders for different government departments and many are working on higher posts.
Accused disclosed that he used to charge Rs.0.5 million for the post of Primary School Teachers, Rs.one million for the post of Junior School Teacher, Rs. 2.5 million for the post of Registrar Revenue, Rs 1.4 million for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector Police and Rs 2.5 million for the post of Taluka Municipal Officer in connivance with the high officials and personalities of government.
In-charge CIA Mubeen Parhiar said that police parties are formed for the arrest of other accomplices of the gang. SSP Javed Jaskani added that further facts were expected to be revealed.
