6 nations ROUND-UP: Scots on guard.

SCOTLAND: Alasdair Strokosch cannot wait to get physical with Italy tomorrow.

But he has vowed not to get drawn into the kind of war that could lead to another Six Nations humiliation after Scotland lost their last two Six Nations clashes against the Azzurri.

Italy have a reputation for overstepping the mark, as well as luring their opponents into doing the same.

Strokosch said: "That's the danger, isn't it? But there's nobody else who can make sure we don't except us out on the pitch. So it's really down to us to hold our discipline."
