55pc Pakistanis believe most criminals are not proven guilty in Pakistani courts.

ISLAMABAD -- At least 55 percent Pakistanis believe that most criminals are not proven guilty in Pakistani courts.

According to a Gallup and Gilani Pakistan National Survey, respondents were asked, 'Do you agree with the statement that most of the criminals are not proven guilty in Pakistani courts?'

To this question, 55 percent Pakistanis said that they agreed with the statement.

The same question was asked in the year 1996. In response, 82 percent Pakistanis said that they agreed with the statement.

According to the public opinion, there has been a 27 percent decrease in the proportion of Pakistanis who say that most criminals are not proven guilty in Pakistani courts.
