50 year anniversary.

Born and raised in Watford, Hertfordshire; Frank Henry Lambert started a company in 1963 that bears his initials. Over the next 50 years F.H.Lambert Limited has grown and has received recognition as world-renowned specialist in decorative metal plating.

Originally making jewellery in his Watford home, Frank started out as an apprentice working with Roy King Limited (manufacturer and designer of jewellery). Later on in his career he bought the company after he had completed his apprenticeship and moved on to start his own jewellery business--Frank Lambert and Partners. Frank's early achievements and success gained recognition in the Local Newspapers; with headlines such as "Watford's Mr. Goldfinger" & "He turned Brass into [pounds sterling]'s".

As well as designing and making Jewellery; Frank was also producing up to 2,000 watches per week for Bulova, Favre-Leuba, IWC Schaffhausen, Omega, Tissot and Longines, to name but a few. Soon after Frank decided to specialise in electroplating due to the market selling cheap digital watches.

The company is a respected leader in specialist decorative I, metal plating, its work being featured on some of the aviation industry's finest interiors--on aircraft ranging in size from the Hawker 125 to the Airbus A380.

Amongst having the largest and newest precious metal plating facility; F.H.Lambert also has the largest silver plating tank and greatest variety of precious metal plating tanks in the UK and Europe. Specialising in many variations of gold, silver, rhodium, chrome, nickel, copper, antiques, and lacquer coatings.

Since 1963, F.H.Lambert has proudly remained a family-run business. Led by Frank's wife Sandy, three sons Jamie, Daniel, Paul. Frank still remains actively involved in the company's operations as chairman. Together they have established an outstanding reputation on the strengths of its vast experience, unsurpassed plating knowledge, exceptional workmanship and distinguished service.
