5 wounded while defusing car bomb in Baghdad.

BAGHDAD, July 6 (VOI) Co Five policemen were wounded on Sunday while defusing a car bomb in the area of Nafaq al-Shurta, western Baghdad, a police source said.

"The Iraqi police discovered a car bomb in Nafaq al-Shurta. The policemen sealed off the street and tried to defuse it but it went off, wounding five of them," the source, who asked not to be named, told Aswat al-Iraq Co Voices of Iraq Co (VOI).

"The wounded policemen were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment," the source said, giving no more details.
