5 mild quakes shake Surigao.

BUTUAN CITY - Five mild tectonic earthquakes jolted Surigao provinces on Wednesday, May 15, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The state agency also reported that the series of earthquakes did not inflict any damage or injury.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said tremors, ranging from 2.0 to 3.5-magnitude, hit portions of Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur between 12:27 a.m. and 3:50 a.m. Wednesday.
First to hit was a 3.2-magnitude earthquake at 12:27 a.m. in Bayabas, Surigao del Sur. Then at 1:04 a.m, a 3.5 magnitude tremor was plotted 60 kilometers (km) northeast of General Luna town, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte province, with a shallow depth of only 6 km.
A magnitude 2.0 earthquake was also recorded at 1:10 a.m., and its epicenter pinpointed only two km southwest of Tubay town, Agusan del Norte province, with a depth of 16 km, the state agency added.
At 2:06 a.m., a 2.8-magnitude tremor was pinpointed 10 km northwest of San Miguel town, Surigao del Sur province, with a depth of 15 km, Phivolcs also reported in its bulletin.
A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was also recorded at 3:47 a.m., and its epicenter was located only four km northeast of Bayabas town, Surigao del Sur province, with a depth of 28 km.
Another 2.7 magnitude tremor was registered at 3:50 a.m. and its epicenter pinpointed 27 km northeast of San Isidro town, Surigao del Norte province, with a depth of 10 km, Phivolcs said.
