4x4 driver failed to stop after bike crash; InBrief.

POLICE are trying to track down the driver of a vehicle which failed to stop after colliding with a motorcyclist at 8.20pm on Tuesday.

The biker suffered a serious foot injury in the collision, which took place on the A423 between Princethorpe and Ryton. He had been riding a black Yamaha motorcycle and overtook two Ford Transit vans when he collided with a red Dodge Avenger 4x4 travelling in the same direction.

The driver of the Dodge failed to stop. They were on the stretch of road leading to the A445 Leamington Road roundabout. Witnesses should call PC Stephen Beard on 01926 415415.
