488 - TEA Techno-Economic Assessment of Energy Security.

This project develops a framework of different techno-economic models (e.g. global TIMES model TIAM & JRC EU-TIMES) to analyse the multidimensional aspects of energy security, such as access to energy sources or shocks to the energy system. It will assist decision making taking into account synergies and trade-offs between energy security and EU policy goals. This project coordinates the horizontal activities in the area of Security of Supply, including GIS and data gathering and processing.
