45th National Day: Central Bank of Oman issues four commemorative One Rial coins.

Muscat: Central Bank of Oman on Tuesday issued four commemorative coins (2 gold & 2 silver) on the occasion of the 45th National Day 2015.

These coins are Legal Tender for their face value and may be purchased from the Central Bank of Oman.

The denomination of the coin is One Rial while the selling prices of the coin are OMR 652 (Gold coin) and OMR 16 (Silver coin). The obverse of the coin features the Coat of the Arms, the name of the country (Sultanate of Oman), the name of the Central Bank of Oman and Face value in Arabic and English while the reverse of the coin (gold and silver) depicts the coloured photo of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the other two (gold and silver) depicts the 45th National Day coloured logo.

The distinctive features, specifications and indicative selling prices of these coins are detailed in the table below; however these prices are subject to change in accordance with the variations in the prices of the bullion in the International Market.
