45 historical buildings to be preserved.

FAISALABAD -- Lyallpur Heritage Foundation (LHF) has selected 45 historical buildings to preserve them as heritage.

Mian Ateeq Ahmad, Secretary LHF, told here on Wednesday that a state-of-the-art museum had been established near Zila Council Chowk to preserve cultural heritage of the area.

He said historical buildings and monuments were also being made a part of Lyallpur Museum to promote culture and civilization of our nation.

He said 45 historical buildings had also been selected by LHF to preserve them and make a part of the heritage. These buildings would be rehabilitated and renovated under phased manners so that their original beauty and elegance could be preserved truly, he added.
