400 helped in trainer's first year.

A NORTH East based training provider is celebrating its first anniversary.

The Profound Warehouse Academy based in Seaham, County Durham, which delivers training to company staff and the unemployed, has been operational for a year this week.

Since opening its doors a year ago Profound Group has put more than 400 learners through their warehouse training programmes.

Steven Ward, managing director of Profound Group, said: "The Profound Group's vision is simple, we want to change the lives of people who want to go further.

"This is what the warehouse is all about, helping unemployed people of the area get back into work by providing elements of training to improve their skills and give them a competitive edge."
