4 road workers wounded in Kunar blast.

ASADABAD (PAN): Four workers of a road-asphalting company were injured in a roadside bombing in the Dangam district of eastern Kunar province on Thursday, officials said.

The explosion happened in the Diri area at 2pm, when the road workers' car struck the roadside bomb, the provincial police chief told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Brig. Gen. Ewaz Mohammad Nazari said the individuals were on their way to work. He added the injured were evacuated to the main provincial hospital.

Two of the injured were in a critical condition, Asadabad Civil Hospital Senior Dr. Farooq Sahak said.
