3rd annual march to feature Nate Phelps.

TOPEKA -- The 3rd annual Million Fag March promises to be even more exciting than the previous two years. Organizer Chris Love started the peaceful march in response to the many Westboro Baptist Church signs that the LGBT community has faced for years on Topeka's streets and most recently, nationally as they picket military funerals.

The first march drew over 400 participants to the corner of Gage Park, and while year two was considerably smaller in numbers, it was an all-day event including bands. Both events were heavily covered in the press by local news channels.

The 3rd Annual March will be Saturday, May 1 at 2pm. Participants should meet at the Gage Park Amphitheater. The event will feature estranged son of Fred Phelps, Nate Phelps, as the speaker.
