3am: Suits you, Soph.

Byline: JESSICA CALLAN, EVA SIMPSON AND NIKI WALDEGRAVE

POP starlet Sophie Ellis-Bextor whisked her way through the crowds of Christmas shoppers in Central London on Sunday gripping a groovy suitcase.

But whether it's full of tricks to sabotage chart rival Victoria Beckham's plans to pip her to the No.1 spot remains a mystery!

Three-months-pregnant Sophie, 24, is set to release I Won't Change You up against Posh's This Groove/ Let Your Head Go on Monday.

The last time they battled it out for No 1, Sophie famously thrashed Victoria's Out Of Your Mind with her dance track Groovejet (If This Ain't Love).

But we reckon 29-year-old Victoria's offering will win this time - even though her single's cover looks exactly the same as Sophie's current album, Read My Lips.

As well as singing This Groove on Christmas Parkinson, David Beckham's missus will also be appearing on All New Top Of The Pops on Christmas Day and CD:UK on Saturday.
