3am: BUT WHO'LL BANG THE DRUMS?

THE shockwaves caused by the missile fired at MI6's London HQ reached as far and wide as Top Of The Pops.

There was some serious hair pulling when Ricky Martin's band failed to turn up to pre- record a performance of his new single She Bangs yesterday.

They were stuck on the Eurostar train in glamorous Ashford, Kent, a long way away from Elstree Studios were the show is filmed - and the security alert, which had closed Waterloo station, meant they weren't moving.

Rather than miss his opportunity to perform, the hip gyrating pop star insisted some replacements were found to pretend they were playing the instruments.

Step forward Ricky's make-upartist, personal assistant, stylist and manager, who looked a little out of his depth on the drums.
