38 exclusive railways salon bogeys declared overage.

ISLAMABAD, July 12, 2011 (Balochistan Times): Thirty Eight out of 45 exclusive railways salon bogeys reserved for Prime Minister and various other high ranking officials have been declared as overage, while their value has also depreciated by more than rupees 150 million. Many Railways maintained salon bogeys have also become overage by 100 years, but are still considered as a part of Railways operations, according to documents available with Online. The Railway salon bogey(s) reserved for PM, originates back to 1974, but PM has sidetracked it for commercial and tourism services; while three other salon bogeys reserved for federal ministers were also manufactured as late as 1926 and 1930. The salon bogey for Governor Punjab and Sindh government was manufactured in 1920, while the one for Governor Sindh was manufactured in 1937. The Governor Balochistan was honoured with one manufactured in 1960. Two salons were also manufactured for Punjab government during 1912, and 1915. While the oldest model functional, as of 1903 is currently being used by Railways officers. Despite being overage, Railways officials insist on their usage as the officers of the department utilize them for inspection purposes, and also for vacationing purposes, if they happen to visit any other City. It is pertinent to mention that these Railways salons are detrimental for tracks, because of their old structures. According to Railways documents, federal government is entitled to four, 6 for Provincial governments, 4 for Railways ministry, and 29 salons for Railways HQs pool.
