36 police officers promoted to next grade.

ISLAMABAD -- On the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee Inspector General Police Mohammad Khalid Khattak on Thursday approved to promote 36 officers to next grade.

The officers promoted next grade included, 8 inspectors, 15 sub-inspectors, 13 Assistant-sub-Inspectors.

A ceremony to pin the badges to these police officials was held at police headquarter and IGP Islamabad Mohammad Khalid Khattak was the chief guest on the occasion.

The Sub-Inspectors promoted to the rank of Inspectors included, Naiz Hussain, Anis Albar, Ch. Zulfiqar, Shaukat Ali, Abdul Jabbar Khan, Qazi Rabnawaz, Amjid Farooq and Azhar Mehmood.

The officers promoted from ASI rank to Sub-inspectors

included, Ashiq Muhammd, Mohammad Akram Mohammad Mushtaq, Shahbaz Ahmed, Akhtar Nawaz,Sajid Hussain, Mohammad Sarwar, Mazhar Mehmood, Javeed Iqbal, Abdul Islam, Akhtar Abbas, Shabir Ahmed and two MT staff Javeed Iqbal and Asif.

Head constables promoted to the rank of ASI included Muhammd Nisar, Mohammad Anwar, Amjid Khan Anwar Hussain Shah, Mohammad Ramzan, Shaid Mohammad, Mohammad Shahfqat, Tariq Mehmood, Mohammad Asghar, Wali Khan, Elahi Buksh, two MT staff Sawrar and Jan Khan.

IG Islamabad said' Today I feel happy along with you who have been promoted to next grade due to your handwork and commitment' he added.

IGP said, 44 officers were promoted to next grade in 2016 while 746 have been promoted to next grade in 2017.

IGP Islamabad said that responsibilities of promoted officers have increased and they have to work with more dedication to accomplish their task.

He hoped for their better output in future and urged them to work hard for protection to the lives and property of citizens.
