349 fugitives arrested. 105+ killed, Baghdad Operations.

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Baghdad Operations Command announced arresting 349 fugitives and killing 105 more, including prisoners and attackers. In a press conference, Commander of Baghdad Operations Staff General Abdul Ameer al-Shammari did not disclose the real number of the Taji and Abu Ghraib fugitives. He confirmed that there is slackness from the prisons' bodyguards and the federal police entrusted to guard Abu Ghraib prison, which enabled the fleeing of the prisoners. Shammari disclosed that the attackers used 15 suicidal terrorists who attacked the prisons with bombed cars, in addition to tens of gunmen. He confirmed that there are no fugitives in Taji prison. The prisoners conducted riots during the attacks to keep the guards busy internally, as Shammari added. The general added that most of the fugitives were arrested in the nearby farms and houses, and some committed suicide before being arrested. He acknowledged that the security information about the attacks were available, but "not dealt with properly".
