300 tons of oil stolen from Kyrgyzneftegaz oil pipeline.

Persons who stole oil from the pipeline were detained in Jalal-Abad,said the head of the security service of Kyrgyzneftegaz, Rashid Sulaimanov on November 12.

Oil was stolen from a pipeline from Kochkor-Ata town to Jalal-Abad town. The activity of the criminal group was "protected" by an employee of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Jalal-Abad region, who created problems for the arrest of the suspects. The shortage of oil was revealed a month ago - the volumes of oil sent through the pipeline did not coincide with those that were received at the outlet in Jalal-Abad town. In this regard, the company management decided to inspect the pipeline.

"During transportation, the volumes of supplied oil decreased. Local residents noticed a suspicious Hyundai Porter car that was pumping oil in a tank on the night of November 8-9. They informed us, and we in turn reported to the police. But they fled the scene and abandoned a car. As it turned out, they made a hole in the oil pipeline section in the Suzak district, and by using special tools pumped oil. At the moment, the damage amounts to about 300 tons.

The identities of these persons are established, but they have not yet been detained.

Investigation is underway.
