30-year hitch; Yourview.

JUST like the reader who highlighted the horrendous increase in charges regarding overdrafts with the Bank of Scotland, after nearly 30 years banking with them, I discussed my concerns with an adviser at my local branch.

He told that this was not negotiable in any way, but offered me several other accounts, some even having a monthly charge.

This is an absolute disgrace when you consider that the taxpayer has kept this lot in business after their years of greed. I would advise anyone not happy to do as I have done and move to another bank.

The whole process of switching accounts has been very easy and my new bank are not ripping me off for being overdrawn.
