3 new banks join ATM project.
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Three new national banks have joined the project to provide the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) services and the credit cards, raising the number of banks participating in the project to eight, the director of Amwal company said on Friday.
"Asharq al-Awsat, Kurdistan and al-Istithmar banks have joined the project to provide the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) services," Atheer al-Qadi told Aswat al-Iraq.
"Baghdad and the Commercial banks prepare to start the new technical services, mainly the credit card project, next week," al-Qadi added, noting that Ashour, al-Istithmar and al-Eiteman banks will be included in the coming stage then the three new banks.
"A number of banks negotiate with Amwal company to join the new project," he underlined, pointing out that preparations underway to distribute the ATM machines in banks
