3 major hospitals of Islamabad exempted from 30 percent budget cut.

ISLAMABAD -- 3 major hospitals of federal capital have been exempted from 30 percent budget cut.

Budget cut will not be applied to hospitals including PIMS and Polyclinic . Government has exempted these three hospitals from budget cut under the heads of utility bills, medicines and food for patients. Federal government had issued notification for 30 percent cut in the budget of all the ministries and hospitals were also included therein.

On the request made by these 3 major hospitals, minister of state for parliamentary affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad took up the matter with the Prime Minister (PM). Finance minister was directed by PM to resolve the matter. Finance ministry has exempted these three hospitals from budget cut.
