3 join Cotton Belles board.
Marla Beil, Saundra Lane and Tracy Provenza were recently name to the Delta Cotton Belles Board of Directors, according to Kim Dowdy, Board President.
Bell will serve as the Special Events Chairman and coordinate activities as well as work on the annual Tennis Tournament. Bell has taught at Washington School for 15 years is married to Jamie, Tennis Director at the Greenville Golf and Country Club, and has four children. They are members of Leland Presbyterian Church.
Lane serves as Co-Chairman of the Thrivers and Survivor Relations and will be joining Amanda Cottingham to lead this inspirational group of women. Lane recently was honored with the Greenville Arts Council Bert Miller Volunteer of the Year Award. Married to Todd, they are members of St. James' Episcopal Church.
Provenza is serving as the Pink Check Up Chairman, which is the newest project of Delta Cotton Belles, as well as work on the Tennis Tournament. Tracy is the owner of Specialty Supply Company of Greenville and is married to John Howard and has four children, six grandchildren. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Delta Cotton Belles was established in 2007 after Greenville resident Beth McKnight was diagnosed with stage IV Breast Cancer.
Since then, the all volunteer group of women have raised over $150,000 and provided over 500 free mammograms and education to many working uninsured women of the Delta.
