3 NPA rebels slain in Agusan.

Three New People's Army (NPA) rebels were killed in an encounter with soldiers in Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte on Monday.

Capt. Al Anthony Pueblas, civil military operations officer, said the clash occurred in Barangay Bangayan. There was no reported casualty among government troopers.

Brig. Gen. Franco Nemesio Gacal, 402nd Infantry Brigade commander, said two NPA rebels were arrested and eight surrendered in recent encounters in the Caraga region. Fifteen guns, 46 improvised bombs and five NPA camps were also seized.
