3 Men Struck, Killed Trying to Cross Ga. Freeway.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Three men were struck and killed by a pickup as they attempted to walk across a freeway in Atlanta's northeast suburbs in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said the crash happened around 5 am on Interstate 85, AP reported. "All southbound lanes of the freeway were blocked for nearly two hours. By 7 am, two of the six lanes had reopened," Parish noted. "Moments after the crash, two bodies could be seen on the pavement in the two right lanes of the freeway as a DeKalb County police car blocked those lanes. Shortly after that, more police cars and fire trucks arrived and all southbound lanes were closed," she added. Parish said it wasn't clear why the men were trying to cross I-85. Ee Ee Ee Ee
