Continued on Page 3 THREE men were last night being quizzed by detectives after a series of drugs raids. Intelligence led police to obtain search warrants and mount a series of early morning raids at seven properties in the Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea and Rhyl areas.
Those arrested included a 40-year-old man from Rhos on Sea on suspicion of possessing class B controlled drugs and paraphernalia. A 25-year-old man from the Rhyl area was arrested for possession with intent to supply class B controlled drugs. A 33-year-old man, also from the Rhyl area, was arrested for money laundering following the recovery of a substantial amount of cash in one of the properties. A total of 20 officers were involved, and acting Detective Inspector Neil Harrison, of St Asaph CID, said: "This was an intelligence led operation which was conducted as part of the on-going commitment by North Wales Police to tackle drugs supply and organised crime. We will pursue those individuals involved in criminality relentlessly, with a view to making North Wales a safer place."
