2m hits a month for Corcoran site.

The Corcoran Group's award-winning web site has reached the record-breaking milestone of 2 million visitors in the month of May 2006, almost twice the traffic from May 2005. As Corcoran continues to drive the future of the real estate business to that of an interactive one where online business will take the lead, this rise in traffic reflects the increased awareness of buyers and sellers of the value of information gathering prior to a sale or purchase.

"We take a great deal of pride in the fact that our agents are so adept at navigating new interactive technologies and we work to provide them with the most innovative and forward thinking tools and web site possible," said Corcoran CEO and President Pamela Liebman. "Corcoran was the first to embrace the necessary online component to the business of real estate and we look forward to future enhancements that will be added to in the coming months."

Regular site enhancements such as improved search functionality and changes to overall usability have helped to drive the upswing in visitors along with the recent re-design of along with the "Live Who You Are" campaign. The rise in traffic also reflects the constant and consistent positive growth over the past 6 months of both Corcoran's site along with the driving force of the real estate market in New York City the Hamptons and South Florida.
