The young whipper-snapper only wants socks and underwear for Christmas.
Gareth told me: "I've gone a bit mad on all of my family. The credit card has taken a hammering.
"For me, all I want is normal stuff - socks, underwear, aftershave, CDs."
Gareth, whose next single What My Heart Wants To Say is out tomorrow, spilled the beans about meeting Prince Charles at the Royal Variety Performance this week.
He said: "I've met him three times now. He said: 'You keep on popping up everywhere I go now'. He's good fun!"
