22 fruits sellers, shopkeepers booked for charging high prices.

PESHAWAR -- The district administration conducted crackdown operation against profiteers and booked 22 shopkeepers for selling vegetables and fruits on high prices against government 's prescribed approved list.

According to details, the Assistant Commissioner, Moghees Sanaullah and Additional Assistant Commissioner Inayatullah Khan accompanied by Assistant Food Controller Tasbihullah Khan conducted raids at vegetables and fruits markets at Inqalab Road and GT Road and arrested 22 shopkeepers for selling these items on high prices against the Govt's approved list.

The AC warned of taking strict action against hoarders and price hikers in future too.
