2007 ALL CANDY EXPO Introduces "A Taste of Gourmet".
Well-known personalities within the confectionery industry, including Joseph Schmidt, Patrick Peeters, Donald Wressell and Jacques Torres, will highlight all that is gourmet at the 2007 ALL CANDY EXPO to be held September 17-19, 2007, at Chicago's McCormick Place.
"A Taste of Gourmet" will serve as the interactive centerpiece of the Gourmet Marketplace, an all-new addition to the ALL CANDY EXPO this year. More than 40 exhibitors of specialty and gourmet sweets and snacks will act as the backdrop to the demonstration and tasting area on the show floor.
"With gourmet confectionery and snack product sales increasing in the double digits year after year, we recognized a need for a dedicated area on the show floor," said Larry Graham, president of the National Confectioners Association (NCA), the show's sponsor. "The premiere of the Gourmet Marketplace this year will provide additional visibility for the niche and mainstream gourmet exhibitors as well as hosting more purchasing opportunities for the specialty buyers."
